Landlocked Mermaid

This year I have really been focusing on my business, learning different or more effcient ways to do things and growing my skills in all of the many facets that this industry has. I believe that you never stop growing and when you have the opportunity to learn from a talent as huge as Jessica Janae Photography, it would be crazy to pass it up! We spent an entire day going over just about every lighting situation. Jess & Whitney's talent is ridiculous, and they are crazy fun! We started the day with a yummy breakfast a little powerpoint featuring Buddy the Elf (it totally made sense I promise) We had the chance to get our portfolio critiqued, learn a few tips and tricks about photo makeup and contouring from the infamous Cara Brook from Maskcara. Then we did some shooting in and around their gorgeous studio. Took a break for lunch (which was catered by The Pizza Studio, I ate the whole thing) Then we headed out to two more locations, we even had dinner in between. It was a LOOOONG day but it was so worth it to hang out with so many great artists, models and friends and take some amazing photos!
