I am sitting here trying to figure out what to say about this sweet boy and his courageous battle with cancer. He has inspired so many and continues to touch the lives of many more. His parents are some of the strongest most amazing people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. To even pretend like I have a clue about how difficult their struggle has been would not be justifiable, but his entire family has been so positive from the day that Sawyer was diagnosed with leukemia. They fought a hard fight and Sawyer is nothing short of a warrior. He earned his wings in the early morning of October 14th. You can view his beautiful eulogy here and leave your condolences for his family. A
donation fund has been set up in his honor, if you would like to contribute you can do so here .
Another way to help out the Schultz family and the cancer community is to become a donor at bethematch.org, you just might save a life. Sawyer may not have lived a long life but in no was was it short of love, inspiration and wonderful memories. Watching them make the most of every last moment that they had with their little fighter was so touching and it should remind us all to never take anything for granted! This life we live really is a fragile thing and we never know if this day could be our last.
