Niko's Birth Story

I got to shoot Niko's big brother Milo's birth a couple years ago,  it was probably the longest birth I've  had the pleasure of attending. Poor Mom had it rough that time around and we hope that this baby would come a lot quicker. Luckily he did, but left us exhausted in a different way. Niko made his debut in the wee hours of the morning.  I was so glad that I could share in this amazing time with some great people,. If you could be a fly on the wall, It's so funny some of the conversations we have while in labor. The epidural truly is an amazing thing, my births were a bit different. I had my three natural without any pain meds and it's unlike the experiences that I've been witness to. I took a few video clips between photos as a surprise for Mom. It turned out so beautifully, what do you think?

Mommy Daughter Style

My cute friend Sandy from sandyalamode.com always does the cutest shoots with her daughter. I love seeing all of the outfits that they mix and match together. This was one of my favorite combos that I've shot with them, those tutus are just the best and I love how we were able to use the lighting to get some light airy pictures and also show some more moody, glamorous shots as well!

Baby it's Cold Outside

I was so excited when Ashley contacted me about a photo & film session to announce their exciting news! We had a great time sledding, throwing some snow balls and sippin' some hot cocoa. I love shooting in the snow, I just think it's so pretty! I loved how she incorporated the buffalo plaid to give it that winter feeling! The video and pictures all turned out so great, if you're going to do an outdoor session in the middle of winter this is definitely the way to do it! Congrats to this cute growing family , I couldn't be happier for them and can't wait to meet their new addition.
